Sm Pink and Natural Handmade Kenyan Basket

This beautiful handmade basket is woven by a skilled crafter from the Kasigau weaving co-operative. Each of our Kasigau baskets is a unique design as the crafter does not produce the same design twice. The basket is made from hand spun sisal. Each basket has attached to it the name of the artisan who crafted it. 

The Kasigau Weaving Cooperative includes a group of six villages located in the Kasigau region of Kenya. The village women basket weave to supplement their livelihoods in an area that is prone to long unpredictable dry spells.
